« Staff were always friendly and helpful. Hot tub and pool were a plus for me. Did not need to go outside for any of my appointments at Mayo Clinic. Easy access to everything. Lord Essex restaurant has a great breakfast. Highly recommend the Kahler Grand Hotel. »

« The good: Clean room, comfortable bed, very kind staff, great breakfast, convenient parking garage. The bad: Wall outlets in the room were all very loose and nothing would stay plugged in (the weight of the plug would cause it to fall out). There were no bath towels in the room (I assume the cleaning staff just forgot to replenish them). Overall a pleasant stay. »

« We truly enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The staff was helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the hot tub and pool along outdoor fire pits and seating. The rooms were spacious and I loved the kitchenette. Within walking distance to downtown with plenty of restaurants and shops. »

« My only complaint is the breakfast consisted of only cold, hard boiled eggs, still in the shell that were impossible to peel. »

« Hôtel un peu vieillot, surtout le hall d’entrée. Au bord d’une rue en travaux, mais malgré tout notre chambre donnant sur le parking était assez calme. Salle de sport ridiculement petite ; grande comme un placard et seulement 2 appareils (vélo elliptique et tapis de marche si je me rappelle bien). On n’a pas testé la piscine. La chambre était très grande et la salle de bain pratique, car douche et WC étaient séparés du lavabo. Petit-déjeuner buffet pas très varié ni très fourni, mais correct....

« Very close with to Mayo Clinic with parking, yet reasonably priced. Which was our main priority. Only complaints were the loud AC unit, that we just unplugged while sleeping. And could not figure out what shows were playing on TV channels. Next time we will have to ask the front desk. »

« Wonderful property with a few caveats. The amenities are great, and the location is ideal for St Mary’s. The apartment is large and parking safe and easy. That said, the bed is very hard and pillows aren’t great. The vents also hit directly on your face in the bed, so that was hard to get used to. I would stay again but only if I brought my own pillows and blankets »
